Since my first "pop-up" dining experience at fifteen, when I drove my dad's five-speed, red Ford Ranger to the local little league, set up the grill, and sold breakfast to the team parents, I've been driven by food. It was the fine dining environment of various restaurants in Portland, and working under some of the NW's best chefs, that helped me cultivate and hone my own culinary vision and approach. Since living in Los Angeles, I have struck a fortunate balance of helming my own personal chef business, working in entertainment, and pursuing my other creative endeavors. These projects are often inspired by ideas that I put in tangible form through painting, mixed medium format sculptures, woodworking, winemaking, or whatever else I feel best expresses my vision.
